VideoS is an equivalent of well-known video services such as TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Currently, the service has all the necessary core functionality, and in the near future, we will continue to expand the functionality of this service. However, the main differences between our SFERA – VideoS service and YouTube Shorts and TikTok are in the algorithms for ranking (recommendations) of video content and the quality of its content. At the moment, before publishing your video on VideoS, you need to add it to VideoS, and after passing the verification process, the video will be published on the service.

All free and without ads

1. SFERA is about benefit and development, and as a result, we do not allow videos on the VideoS service that do not contribute to the development of the users for whom this video content is intended. The video should be useful. It can be educational, general knowledge, developmental; it should be beneficial to the majority of users. We do not accept videos for publication that do not have a positive impact on user development. We do not recommend submitting videos that are blatantly degrading; in this case, you may be blocked from your account. We create a video service in which every minute spent is spent for the benefit of the user. We are strongly against degradation and thoughtless use of users’ time.

2. Plagiarized content is not acceptable in our system. We do not accept any content that has obviously been taken from other sources and of which you are not the creator. We do not accept excerpts from movies, shows, or any other material of which the user submitting the content to VideoS is not the creator. In the future, content creators will receive financial rewards for posting video content. It is important to remember that by publishing content on VideoS, you, as the content creator, are responsible for it.

3. The entire SFERA ecosystem and VideoS service, in particular, do not decide for users what content they will see. The only criterion in the recommendation algorithm is the author’s profile rating and the rating of specific content participating in the recommendations. If a user subscribes to you, they will definitely see your content, regardless of the rating. Author and publication ratings only affect recommendations for non-subscribed users. In the VideoS service, like in the SFERA Feed service, subscribers receive content from authors they follow as a priority.

4. File upload limit. Currently, VideoS does not have (conditionally) any limitations on video duration, but we do not accept files that exceed 1 gigabyte in size. Also, please note that there is a high likelihood that we will not accept content that weighs less than one gigabyte but is several minutes long. Please understand this, as we strive to make the most efficient use of the limited resources we have and not to overly burden our servers. Also, remember that the larger the file size, the faster internet speed is required for viewing. We are against our users receiving “cheap” dopamine; we are against degradation.
